This year’s report provides a lot of information about the behavior of Palestinians on social media, whether as individuals or as groups, institutions, and companies. The report begins with the most prominent statistics and figures about Palestine, from population to internet users and various social media, and then deals with the most prominent pages and accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and SoundCloud, based on several performance criteria. And then talk about community initiatives that relied on social media to mobilize popular support for them, and talk about the most prominent topics that occupied Palestinian public opinion, which was documented through specific hashtags. Finally, we discuss a number of documented stories of arrests against the background of posts on social media, whether by Israeli or Palestinian security services in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
